Apulit Island, El Nido Philipines

El Nido Resorts is co-owned by Ayala Group of Companies.
This trip is yet our most expensive.

Trip cost includes:
  • Airfare at ITI’s private terminal
  • Boat transfers
  • Food
  • Island hopping with gears, towel and snacks
I processed some of the photos.

This is totally a worry-free vacation you could use. Once you confirmed the booking you don't have to spend any other cost for anything. You have practically paid everything once you landed the island except for the souvenirs.

No need to worry for food, they served breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet. Western, seafood, pasta and vegetarian are served.

Aside from being pricey, this is a bad experience with the weather, we booked the vacation for a 3d/2n stay on the island on November 2012. Quite a scare on the boat, the waves were big but the boat is big enough to carry on. We are supposed to reach the island around 3pm. Unfortunately it was about 7pm.

Our 3 days became 2 days and 2 nights. It was always gloomy and the raining didn't stop by that time. We booked an activity for an island hop for the next day so we could still spend time on the other part of the island. The group were still lucky enough to see another island and discovered a cave. Best part on this cave was a small lagoon you can dive. Had a few until it was enough. Chillin' cold while on the boat but still managed to convince ourselves we can't do anything about the weather so we had to enjoy every moment of it.

The sun finally decided to show on our last day. We were able to spend the morning kayaking. And soaked ourselves into the pool. We couldn't get back to where we landed because the runway was flooded. They had us traveled to Puerto Princesa by van for 4 hours, and had us booked a flight from there to Manila. Of course we already paid for this trip so we didnt have to pay anything given the change of route and transportation.

I am going back to El Nido and hopefully conquer the rest of the Islands especially Miniloc.

Wow! How much did it cost for 3D/2N? And how small was the airplane (how many seats)?

Hi. I think the plane accommodates 15 people. Water cottage from 12k, Deluxe is from 13.5k.

Was the cottage worth its price?

I think so, Yes. It's a full on-board meal. I'm not sure though if you can dive from the cottage during high tides.
