Orchids galore.

Orchids is Singapore's national flower, otherwise known as the Vanda Miss Joaquim. I saw this huge flashing  information board from the Botanic Garden that served as a small trivia.

This is also Mother's favorite flowers and that is the reason why we have an orchid garden in our backyard. She tenders them love and care every morning and even saw fertilizers being sprayed on it to keep it blooming. They are quite delicate and should be given effort if you decide to grow them in your garden.

Personally, I don't find orchids that special nor attractive. I am a dandelion person. ❁◕ ‿ ◕❁
If you try to take a photo of some of its kinds, like the Phalaenopsis orchids their appearance are quite interesting. The first thing that comes into my mind is, they look like the aliens from the Alien movies.

Apart from a wide display of different varieties in the mentioned garden, Orchids are also being exhibited at the airport. They have laid out a small but amazing landscape and even added a small pond of koi.
