Diver City, Odaiba, Tokyo Japan

It was concert day today, we knew gates opened by 10:30am but we decided to drop by Odaiba for lunch and of course to see the enormous gundam statue. It was going to be crowded at the concert hall so I decided to just bring my GoPro Hero 3 and see if there's any use. Most of the time we were just using my mobile phone, LG G3 for this itinerary.

Going here should land you to Tokyo Teleport Station.

I was in full gear tourist mode.

Diver City is well known for its shopping malls, hotels and leisure options. This building is the Fuji TV Building. Japan's headquarter of Fuji Television network. I've read tourists can also visit the futuristic building to catch some popular TV goodies and programs.

This wide area is clean surrounding of Diver City. Parking spaces, bridge and a small garden. If you observed that red wheel shaped. Its a ferris wheel. Underneath it is a Leisureland which is a huge entertainment section for games and arcades. The geeks safest haven.

We came from the mall entrance so this is the view when we were approaching the this baby, a 1/1 Scale Gundam RX-78-2. We are not gundam enthusiasts but yes, it is a must see for tourists. There is a gundam cafe where we passed by. I wonder why we didn't dine in. I think it was because there was an event that day. See those people lined up? Too bad we were not able to catch the presentation during night time whereas it is said to emit smoke and incredible light setup.

There is another shopping mall adjacent to Diver City Mall called Aqua City. It has an all ramen themed food court and you can tasted all kinds of Ramen from all over Japan! Oh I can't believe we missed it! We had so little time to explore for more sitings as we were late for the concert.
